The view of Cape Blomidon is a famous landmark in the Annapolis Valley. There are many spots throughout the Valley where it is plainly visible.
It's hard to miss the huge cliffs that rise out of the Minas Basin, but it isn't until you are up close to it that you can really appreciate it.
At the bottom of the cliffs there is a large beach area. When the tide is out you may have to walk for quite a while to hit the water though. If you prefer you can walk along the shore line and look almost straight up the cliffs.
Blomidon is also a provincial park which offers camping, picnic areas and hiking trails that take you through some beautiful scenery.
